Can it be configured after having a password on the id file?

John,

Thanks for the reply.

My client installation was initially done in a Domino environment with the old Notes Single Login service. I've since uninstalled the old NLS, but the "Log in to Notes using your operating system login" option is greyed out. Do I need to do a fresh install without the old NLS service and create a new user.id file? Or can I somehow remove the password from the current user.id file?

Thanks again.

a couple things to check...
The service may still be running.  Try this:

Run the following command from a Windows command prompt:

"sc delete "Lotus Notes Single Logon"

Then restart Windows.

If it's still grayed out, exit Notes and restart it by right clicking the Notes icon and use "Run as administrator".   Then see if you can select that option.
